Saddle up, and ride off into an exceptional natural environment.

The Parc des Sommets offers equestrian touring adepts nearly a dozen trails on the Mount Oak Network and the C1 trail belt, all wide enough to venture out on horseback without any worries.

On the Mountain Network, we’ve built an equestrian rest area on the upper part of the Hollywood Trail. Here you can take a short break, and enjoy a breathtaking view of Mount Sutton and the surrounding region.

Because cohabitation is a priority in the Park, it should be noted that these trails are multi-use and are therefore used by hikers, runners and mountain bikers as well. It’s important to respect the signs and to use only those trails that have been developed for horseback riding.

Please don’t forget to pick up anything your horse might leave behind.

The trails are well marked but it’s a good idea to download the free “ONDAGO” locator applications on your smart phone.

Access to the hiking and equestrian trails is free for Bromont residents (proof of residence required via Bciti). However, Bromont residents have to buy their pass on Bciti if they are doing mountain bike. The fee is donated to the organization Les Amis des Sentiers who are the only ones to ensure the sustainability of the trails in Bromont by seeing to their protection, maintenance and development.
