“Dear friends of our trails,
We are truly privileged to have, right in our own backyard, a gem like the Parc des Sommets. With its 140 kilometers of multi-disciplinary trails accessible in every season, it offers a unique space to recharge, get moving, admire the beauty of our environment, and enjoy the sports we love—whether on foot, by bike, on snowshoes, or on skis.
This exceptional network could not exist without the involvement of many people. We are fortunate to count on skilled and passionate employees, strong and committed partners, and generous, tireless volunteers. Thanks to their contribution, the Parc can continue to grow while being protected and maintained for the benefit of future generations.
I would also like to pay tribute to everyone who, from near or far, took part in creating the Parc. Their vision, perseverance, and love for the land made it possible to bring to life a project of which we are all proud. We owe them a great deal.

About the Executive Director
“The role of the Executive Director of Les Amis des Sentiers: a conductor in service of the Parc des Sommets
At the heart of the action, Alain, the Executive Director (ED) of Les Amis des Sentiers, plays a central role in the vitality, management, and growth of the Parc des Sommets. A true conductor, he ensures harmony among all the stakeholders around the Parc: users from every background, environmental organizations, municipal and community partners, and landowners.
His mandate is broad and demanding. He looks after trail safety and ongoing maintenance, as well as planning the network’s future development. Always attentive to on-the-ground needs, he makes sure the Parc remains accessible, sustainable, safe, and welcoming—in every season.
The ED is also a mobilizing leader: he recruits, guides, and supports a devoted team of employees, recognizes the engagement of volunteers, and forges strong ties with numerous partners. He carries the vision of Les Amis des Sentiers while keeping a steady focus on the common good and the preservation of this exceptional natural heritage.
Through his daily commitment, coordination skills, and ability to rally energy, Alain actively helps make the Parc des Sommets a living place—respected and appreciated by all.”
