Nature, forests, biodiversity, lakes and mountains, we have so many kilometres of trails for outdoors enthusiasts!

Located only an hour’s drive from Montréal, right at the border of the picturesque Eastern Townships, Bromont stands out with hikers and nature lovers because of its proximity, the amazing landscapes and the variety of terrain visitors can explore here.

With 140 km of trails, the Parc des Sommets offers several hiking options spread across the different networks established here (The Mountain Network, the Mount Oak Network, the Lake Gale Network, the Villageois Network and the Mount Berthier Network). Several belvederes and picnic tables have also been placed in strategic areas, allowing visitors to relax for a while as they enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the surrounding region.

The trails are well marked but it’s a good idea to download the free “ONDAGO” locator applications on your smart phone.

Access to the trails is free for Bromont residents (proof of residence required via Bciti). The fee for non-Bromont residents is donated to the organization Les Amis des Sentiers who are the only ones to ensure the sustainability of the trails in Bromont by seeing to their protection, maintenance and development.

Dogs on a leash are permitted at all times on most of our networks of trails, except for the Lake Gale Network (conservation zone).

As you walk along the trails, you’ll enjoy reading the different interpretation panels which describe the surrounding fauna, flora and the current ecological situation; a little reminder from Mother Nature to help you learn more about our environment.

The Lake Gale Network is a conservation zone offering abundant and interesting wildlife with an impressive ornithologic and floristic diversity. This network is preferred by many hikers because it offers 15 kilometres of trails set inside a truly enchanting landscape. Visitors can access a magnificent cascade, a lake and, when they reach the summit of Mount Gale, an amazing view overlooking the domain.

The Mountain Network offers more than 50 kilometres of trails for all hiking levels. Lately we’ve built several belvederes on the summits of Mounts Bernard, Horizon and Spruce from where visitors can enjoy amazing panoramas.

Join us for a family getaway or an outing among friends as you explore the splendours of the Parc des Sommets’s network of trails.
