Activities with Dogs
Activities with dogs are encouraged under certain conditions. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. They are permitted in the park facilities, where water bowls are available.
Skijoring
Skijoring is permitted at all times on trail C-1 and the Villageoise trail.
However, we have some restrictions for users at the Equestrian Centre:
Access to the cross-country ski trails with a dog is permitted from Monday to Thursday.
On Fridays, the trails must be cleared by 4:00 p.m., and then access is prohibited thereafter on Saturday and Sunday before 16h00, due to trail grooming by our volunteers and the weekend traffic.
Hiking and Snowshoeing
During hiking and snowshoeing activities (excluding bikejoring), dogs on leashes are permitted at all times on most trails. However, access is prohibited in the Gale Lake network, which is a conservation area.
Mountain biking and fat biking (dog biking)
Dog biking is permitted with a dog on a leash on:
- trails C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4, and C-7;
- the wide trails of the Mount Oak network, with access to Cassonade, Wambam, and Picolo;
- the Berthier and Villageoise networks.
🚫 Dog biking is prohibited on the mountain.
