The team at Les Amis des Sentiers gets up very early to provide Bromont’s cross-country skiers with superbly groomed trails as soon as snow conditions permit.

The Bromont olympic equestrian Park offers an 8 km loop for cross-country skiing amateurs in both classic and skating styles with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Two parking lots are available, on Chemin de Gaspé near the intersection with Chemin du Lac Gale and on Chemin des Carrières.

The 15 km long C1 hiking belt around the mountain is designed for classic cross-country skiing. This intermediate level trail is a multi-use route and we ask users not to walk or ride in the tracks in order to keep the trail in good condition for skiers.

The Villageois Network is another option for classic style cross-country skiers. This is an easy level trail and links the Adamsville sector, the Parc Scientifique and the Bromont arena by way of Vieux-Bromont. The entire 17-kilometre network is mechanically groomed.

The trails are well marked but it’s a good idea to download the free “ONDAGO” locator applications on your smart phone.

Access to the hiking and equestrian trails is free for Bromont residents (proof of residence required via Bciti). However, Bromont residents have to buy their pass on Bciti if they are doing mountain bike. The fee is donated to the organization Les Amis des Sentiers who are the only ones to ensure the sustainability of the trails in Bromont by seeing to their protection, maintenance and development.
